Ocean 2 Ocean: Ocean Magazine has launched it's non-profit foundation


Ocean Magazine announces the launch of Ocean 2 Ocean, a nonprofit organization designed to support local and global women’s rights organizations.

Los Angeles, CA, September 15, 2008 – Ocean magazine announces the launch of Ocean 2 Ocean, a nonprofit organization founded by Amy Chizzick, Vice President Advertising and Marketing for Ocean magazine and co-founder Molly Chizzick, Editor-in-Chief, for Ocean magazine.



Mission Statement:
Ocean 2 Ocean supports the empowerment of women by working with organizations locally and around the globe to facilitate and expand the potential of women to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others.
Through collaboration with nonprofit and grassroots women’s organizations in the United States and developing countries, Ocean 2 Ocean will work to support, recognize and assist women’s initiatives in ways that uphold their own goals and objectives to improve the quality of life for women.
In addition to allocating one dollar from all Ocean magazine subscriptions to an organization that supports women’s issues, Ocean 2 Ocean will begin partnering with different women’s organizations to host events in which 100% of proceeds will benefit its partners, as well as work alongside organizations to provide financial contributions as and resources to support their initiatives.
